In this series on the five levels of self-awareness, I’m going to explore the three most common types of self-awareness. First up, you may have heard of the “I”, which is the one that comes up most of the time when we talk about the self. The I’s are the ones that have the idea that we are the sum total of our thoughts, feelings, and actions.
I’m talking about self-awareness, which is a kind of “listening” that is a way of saying that we are the sum total of our actions. So if we’re in a situation where we’re in need of a new way of self-awareness, we can just have a piece of evidence that they are thinking of us.

For example, there is a guy in our office who is constantly being bullied by his co-workers. So in order to help him I set up a self-awareness test. Instead of simply walking down the hall and saying “hey guys,” I set up a test where I took a video of myself walking down the hall and then asked the guy if he was aware of that. To my surprise, he was.
In my case, I was also in a situation where I needed to be able to feel others feel me. In other words, I needed to know if I was being judged and that if I was then there were other ways of making sure I wasn’t. I set up my self-awareness test by taking a video of myself walking down the hall and then asking myself, “Are you aware of what I’m doing?” To my surprise, I was.
The test is a way of measuring the degree to which you are aware of yourself and your surroundings. If you’re unaware, you’re not aware. If you’re aware of everything you’re doing, you’re very aware. We have a term for this in the psychology department called the “state of being aware,” which is what psychologists call “flow.
In our case, I had nothing to do with this test but I have a feeling something is wrong with me. Maybe because Im not sure how I feel or what Im doing I am not aware of Im being aware of my surroundings. I think Im very aware of Im, and Im not aware of what Im doing. I also think Im very aware of what Im doing, but Im not aware of what Im doing.
The other two things we’re talking about here are the idea of the “good” and “bad” (or perhaps the “bad”) factors in how we perceive ourselves.
Basically, we think we are good. We think we are bad. We think we are good and bad, and we think we are good and bad. In reality, we are really good and bad. The most important thing to realize is that there are no good and bad. Good and bad are mental states, and there are no good and bad.
